Week 4
As the next international breaks looms on the horizon, the leagues are starting to take shape. Plenty of movements up and down the tables so far, and with more than three-quarters of the season to go, plenty of opportunities for managers to make movements up their table. Unless you are one of the teams rooted at the bottom of the table, of course. In which case, stay there, help your fellow MvF’ers out and take the ignominious title of worst player!
In the Head-to-Head league, Richard Harrop and Benny WQ have now tasted defeat, however Martin Satterthwaite continues to amaze everyone as he remains the only unbeaten manager in the league, and proudly sits atop the table. Interestingly, he is the only manager in the top half of the table to still be below 300 points and is yet to face any of the pre-season favourites. At the bottom 6 managers find themselves with a solitary win so far and will be looking for points in the next round to start moving away from the bottom.
In the classic league, Tayfun keeps top spot and opens his lead slightly. Martin Bennett leapfrogs Richard Harrop into second place, and Simon Jewell’s impressive weekly score sees him jump into 4th spot, just behind. Goose remains bottom of the table but is catching those around him. Ben Martin, Adam Ratcliffe, and David Hodder will need to find some hidden gems if they don’t want to swap places!
In the Super 6 league, the sneaky mid-week rounds caught a few players out again who failed to submit an entry. It has cost David Hodder first place, as he sees both James Cribbens and Dan Terry go above him. Rob G has moved away from the bottom after a few good rounds, but Alistair Campbell will now be praying his predictions for this weekends game go his way, as long as he remembers to submit them!
